Thomas F. Riley Wilderness Park

The Thomas F. Riley Wilderness Park is home to an abundant number of native plants and animals. The park contains old groves of Western Sycamores and Coast Live Oaks trees. As it borders two seasonally flowing creeks throughout most if its large expanse. The land is a mix of rolling hills and canyons, with Coastal Sage Scrub grassland in between. Making it a great spot for bird watching or just spending time outdoors!

The park has five miles of multi-use and single track trails that provide outdoor enjoyment. Equipped for hikers, equestrians, and mountain bikers. Also, Ranger led programs as well. While self guided hikes allow visitors to learn about how rich this sanctuary is, while they explore its beauty on foot or horseback! Meanwhile, the outdoor classroom atmosphere of this park offers students and youth-oriented organizations a place to experience  the intricate relationships between wildlife and its habitat first-hand.
