    Note: If you are accepted and decide to join, we do have membership dues that are used to maintain the website and pursue initiatives to promote your photography.

    DOES MY PROFILE DISAPPEAR AFTER I DISCONTINUE MY MEMBERSHIP?

    If you discontinue your membership, your profile will still remain on the website.  However, the profile will have limited features and appear below the active profiles.

    CAN I STILL USE THE LOGOS FOR MY MARKETING IF I DISCONTINUE MY MEMBERSHIP?

    Absolutely!  If you were ever featured on Wedding Maps, The Photo Argus, SLR Lounge, or any other partner websites, you are permitted to use relevant logos in your marketing.

    DO THE LINKS DISAPPEAR IF I DISCONTINUE MY MEMBERSHIP?

    Any features that you earn on 3rd party partner websites as an active member of Wedding Maps should remain online permanently, even if you discontinue your membership.  We use the word “should” because we do not have any editorial control over these websites, and their website owners may choose to remove or modify articles.

    WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WEDDING MAPS AND OTHER AWARDS PLATFORMS/DIRECTORIES?

    The primary difference between us and the other websites is that those others are primarily Awards platforms.  While we also have awards, our focus is on helping photographers build their online presence with a variety of featureson partner websites like SLR Lounge, Rangefinder, Fstoppers, and other respected publications.
    Features from different sources are extremely valuable for SEO and brand building, but they can be difficult and time consuming to get on your own.  We’ve already established the connections and we can get them done within our workflow.
