The Farmstead

The Farmstead, a mere 20 miles from Charlotte, is nestled off Mauney Road in Mount Pleasant and forms part of our sprawling 500-acre farm adjacent to The Farm at Brusharbor.

Boasting vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and a large, functional stone fireplace, The Farmstead evokes the essence of the mountains right in the heart of Cabarrus County. Our charming brick farmhouse provides the ideal setting for the entire bridal party to prepare and for photographers to document every intricate detail before the vows are exchanged. The venue also offers two distinct outdoor ceremony locations overlooking a picturesque pastoral scene complete with a pond – a sight that will surely be etched in the memories of your guests for years to come. Brides have the option of exchanging vows under a handcrafted arbor by the pond or within the confines of a majestic open barn, adorned with twinkle lights and equipped with large industrial fans for the summer and heaters for the cooler months. Following the ceremony, guests can amble over to the cobblestone patio beneath bistro market lights, where they will be welcomed to dine and celebrate in our climate-controlled reception barn.
