Camp North End
The Camp North End complex is a perfect example of Charlotte’s downtown revitalization. But its goal isn’t to redefine what makes the city so great. It emphasizes all that has already been there for years and will continue into generations ahead. The camp is a massive adaptive reuse project on the 76-acre industrial site north of Uptown. ATCO Properties and Management paid $15 million for the land. Which previously served as a Ford Model T factory and missile plant before becoming RiteAid’s new headquarters. All with additional buildings added at some point since then to accommodate its ever growing needs.
Camp North End has been a staple of the community for years. From festivals, markets, live music, and food trucks, or just an afternoon stroll through downtown with friends. You can always find something fun happening at this camp! And if those aren’t enough activities, then don’t worry about missing out. There’s also the Mistletoe Market where vendors sell their handmade goods every holiday season without any fail!
