Gelfman Photography is a boutique photography studio led by husband-and-wife team Matt and Lesley. With Bachelor’s degrees in Photography and over 12 years of experience photographing weddings, events, and portraits, we’ve built our approach around capturing genuine moments as they naturally unfold. While our style leans heavily into candid, photojournalistic storytelling with touches of editorial flair, our highest priority is always making sure our couples are able to fully experience and enjoy their wedding day. We strive to be as unobtrusive as possible, creating photographs that feel authentic and emotionally rich without ever making the day feel like it’s revolving around the camera. Based on Long Island, New York, we’re passionate about documenting people and their stories in a way that feels true to who they are.
