What inspired you to become a wedding photographer?
We’ve never really lived life by the book, and we connect deeply with couples who feel the same. We started photographing elopements to create space for people to celebrate their love in ways that actually feel like them… not what tradition or expectations say it should look like. For us, it’s about more than beautiful photos. It’s about creating a space where you can be fully yourselves, follow your heart, and have a day that reflects your relationship from start to finish.
How would you describe your photography style?
Our style is candid, fun, and full of feeling. We capture the real, in-between moments that tell the full story of your day, whether that’s a quiet glance, a belly laugh, or the joy of running barefoot across a mountaintop. The result is a gallery that feels like you, not a photoshoot version of you.
How do you ensure that your clients feel comfortable and relaxed during the photo shoot?
We spend a lot of time getting to know our couples before their elopement through questionnaires, Zoom calls, and casual check-ins. When we can, we love meeting up in person a day or two before the big day. It always helps ease nerves and makes everything feel more natural.
By the time the elopement arrives, it feels less like a photoshoot and more like hanging out with friends. We offer plenty of gentle direction to help you feel confident, but we also encourage movement, connection, and just being yourselves. That’s how we capture photos that feel genuine and full of emotion.
How do you ensure that you capture all of the important moments on the wedding day?
We work as a two-photographer team, which means we can capture multiple angles, different perspectives, and all those intimate in-between moments that might otherwise go unseen. Before the day arrives, we also check in with our couples about any specific photos or moments that are important to them so nothing meaningful gets missed. Our goal is to document the full story of your elopement, from the quiet moments to the big emotions.
What is your favorite part of the wedding day and why?
We love the first looks, the heartfelt moments during the ceremony, the quiet comfort of a first dance as the sun sets, and all the in-between pieces that make the day feel real and full of emotion. Those small, unscripted moments often end up being the most powerful.
