Constructed in 1863 by Captain Jedediah Hawkins and influenced by Italianate architecture, the inn was once a landmark residence in North Fork. After facing a period of neglect in the 1980s and becoming the center of local ghost stories, the property underwent a meticulous restoration. In 2005, it reopened its doors as a luxury boutique hotel, restaurant, and speakeasy, retaining its historical charm while offering modern luxury.
