Codorus State Park

The 3,500-acre Codorus State Park is in the rolling hills of southern York County. Also, it includes a 1,275-acre lake as well. The area’s lakes serve as resting stops for migrating waterfowl and shorebirds on their journey northward. All while providing an escape from the summer heat elsewhere in Pennsylvania! The lake is a popular destination for both sail and motor boaters. Anglers love it too, with warm water fishing in Codorus Creek on one side of the waterway or trout seasonally down here as well.

In addition, due to the volume of boat traffic on Lake Marburg, scuba diving is only permitted in Sinsheim Cove. Divers must show their certification and sign out at the park office after they dive. They are required to use a buddy system while diving too. In order to practice safety, so make sure you have someone with whom you’ll be working underwater that day. For sure, there are endless activities available that everyone can enjoy at this park!
