AS PASSIONATE AND BOLD AS YOUR CONNECTION
Having photographed more than 400 weddings, I’ve mastered the art of incredible lighting, elegant composition, and impeccable timing to create fine-art photos in a romantic yet editorial style. And after a lifetime of involvement in the arts, I intuitively understand what medium will best align with the story and style of your wedding, be it utilizing a vintage lens or selecting film stock. So, your photos will look as beautiful tomorrow as they do when you share them with your grandchildren in forty years.

A CANDID AND UNOBTRUSIVE APPROACH
Unlike my years photographing and retouching for fast fashion retailers like H&M, I approach your wedding day with intention, empathy, and perspective. Instead of campaign images that will be shown quickly and discarded, your wedding photos are crafted to share the emotion and story of your day for years to come. And by being unobtrusive and letting each interaction unfold organically, I capture your most significant moments in a natural way.

YOUR PROFESSIONAL PARTNER IN CRIME
The best events come together smoothly thanks to clear communication. But it takes more than a quick chat to make the collaboration a success. That’s why I respond quickly and personably, sprinkling in light-hearted humor and experienced input where appropriate. So, you can count on me to work openly and harmoniously with you and your vendor team. And by collaborating together seamlessly from the start, deliver images that align with your taste and expectations.

COSMOPOLITAN + COMFORTABLE
As a well-traveled expert working with couples across the globe, I’ve learned to connect genuinely and communicate effectively with a wide range of people. So, I have no doubt we’ll find common ground! Feeling comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera is crucial on a wedding day. That’s why I combine my sense of humor, honest encouragement, and an editorial director’s gaze to bring out your best in a light-hearted way.

FAQs

What inspired you to become a wedding photographer?

I’m the wedding photographer without my own wedding photos. When I got married, I didn’t work with weddings but as a commercial photographer, and I had lots of friends who were photographers. I just assumed there would be photos, right? They will bring their cameras?

Buuuut turns out they didn’t. I have exactly three photos from our wedding (before smartphones), ONE photo of my husband and I, and NON of my parents and me. So I realized (years later) that I would give anything to have photos from that day. Especially now when people we love are gone. These photos will grow exponentially in value over time, and not to sound cliche, they are priceless.

My why is to craft those photos for my couples, sure they will enjoy them the day after the wedding or the week after, but they will positively love, cherish and adore them 20 years from now.

How would you describe your photography style?

I aim to tell your story through an extraordinary mix of romantic, natural photos with a touch of editorial vibes.
I promise sincere imagery that captures the events and spirit of your wedding day

How do you ensure that your clients feel comfortable and relaxed during the photo shoot?

The best sessions come together smoothly, thanks to clear communication. But it takes more than a quick chat to make the collaboration a success. That’s why I’m dedicated to getting to know your vibe and preparing you for your photo shoot or wedding by sprinkling in light-hearted humor and experienced input where appropriate. So you can count on a relaxed and fun time together with me and my cameras. And by collaborating together, deliver images that feel like you!

How do you ensure that you capture all of the important moments on the wedding day?

I work seamlessly with your planner to bring your vision to life through photographs.
When appropriate, I’ll consult your planner on lighting and timing, but my focus is supporting you both through remarkable and honest imagery. I want to step back to give you and your guests space to be yourselves. The less I direct, the more I can focus on what’s happening around me, allowing for those magical moments to unfold and be documented. Having a timeline is essential, yes! But when I’m allowed to concentrate less on the timeline and instead flow with the day, I can capture those in-between, unscripted moments that all couples want.

What is your favorite part of the wedding day and why?

If I had to pick one moment, it’s the recessional; there’s something so celebratory when you take your first steps as newlyweds. The excitement and joy are palpable, and I get a little euphoric just thinking about it. Yeah, that’s definitely a highlight on the wedding day.
But I love crafting gorgeous portraits as well as getting those super fun images when you climb up on that table and drink straight from the bottle of champagne. Having the time of your life on this one, unforgettable day and night.
