Gabe Rene LLC

Hey y’all, I’m Gabe Rene — the eye, heart, and sometimes the chaos coordinator behind Gabe Rene LLC. I’m a Texas-based wedding photographer and creative with a serious passion for capturing bold, cinematic moments that actually feel like you. Based in the Texas Hill Country, but I’m always down to hit the road. I’ve photographed love stories in the desert heat of Big Bend, heart of Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and so many more places across the state.
I work with couples who know how to throw down and show up for their day — the ones who care more about feeling their wedding than stressing over every little detail. The ones who value high-end experiences but aren’t afraid to get a little dirt on their boots (or their designer shoes). If you’re a little bougie but hella down-to-earth, we’ll vibe.
We’re not just snapping pretty pictures. We’re telling stories with a cinematic eye and intentional direction. Every image is curated to feel like it belongs in a damn movie trailer — one starring you, your person, and all the magic of your day. It’s luxe meets laid-back, with just enough edge to keep it interesting.
My fiancé Kyle is usually right there with me — he’s the calm to my storm, the fixer of flyaways, and a master at making sure your champagne glass is full and your train is fluffed just right. But more than that, he is my second photographer for your big day. Together, we make sure everything looks like a dream and runs like a well-oiled machine (with snacks and dance breaks included).
If you’re looking for a photographer who’s professional but real, who gives a damn about your experience, and who’s gonna make you feel like a million bucks without being stiff or weird about it — that’s us. Let’s make art, drink something strong, and tell your story in a way that hits different.
Let’s f**king go.

FAQs
What inspired you to become a wedding photographer?
I picked up my dad’s old camera back in the early 2000s and something just clicked — literally and figuratively. I fell hard for the art of capturing moments… not just the posed, pretty stuff, but the real, raw, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it kind of moments. The ones that tell a story without needing words.
Even while I was studying graphic design and diving deep into the world of branding and visuals, I never put the camera down. Photography was always there, quietly (okay, sometimes loudly) pulling me back in. Design taught me composition, color theory, and how to communicate without saying a damn thing — all of which made me a better photographer. But it was the camera that gave me a front-row seat to real life unfolding.
Over time, that love evolved into photographing people — their energy, their connection, the chaos and calm in between. And eventually, that path led me straight into the world of weddings.
Weddings are a beautiful storm of emotion, movement, and meaning — and getting to document that for people? It’s a damn honor. I don’t take it lightly. Every wedding I shoot is a chance to bottle up a once-in-a-lifetime story through my lens. And every couple I work with adds a new chapter to my own journey as a creative.
How would you describe your photography style?
My photography style is cinematic, bold, and full of feeling — think rich tones, dramatic light, and moments that hit you right in the damn heart. I’m not about stiff poses or fake smiles. I’m here for the real sh*t: the side glances, the belly laughs, the teary hugs, the wild dance floor chaos, and everything in between.
It’s storytelling meets editorial with a little Texas grit. I use light like a paintbrush and lean into the vibe of the day — golden hour glow, candlelit intimacy, or a storm rolling in with perfect drama. I’ll absolutely guide you when you need it (so you’re not standing there wondering what to do with your hands), and yeah — we’re still gonna hit a few of those epic, editorial poses that stop the scroll and light up your Instagram. You get the best of both worlds: the unscripted and the damn near cinematic.
If you’re looking for photos that feel like art but still look like you — authentic, emotional, elevated, and full of life — then we’re gonna get along just fine.
How do you ensure that your clients feel comfortable and relaxed during the photo shoot?
Honestly? I show up as a real f**king human first. I’m not gonna be some awkward dude behind the camera yelling “say cheese” — that’s not my style. I create an environment where you feel like you’re just hanging out with a friend who happens to be holding a camera and hyping the hell outta you the whole time.
I’ll guide you through everything — from where to put your hands to when to just forget I’m even there and be in the moment. I’m big on reading energy, so if you need direction, I’ve got you. If you’re vibin’ and doing your thing, I’ll let it ride. I keep it fun, low-pressure, and full of bad jokes and “hell yeahs” and “yee-haws” when you’re looking like a damn movie star.
It’s not just about taking pretty pictures — it’s about creating a space where you can actually feel good in your skin and be fully present with your person. And trust me, when you feel good, the photos hit different.
How do you ensure that you capture all of the important moments on the wedding day?
Capturing the important moments on a wedding day isn’t something we leave to chance — we roll in with a plan and a solid team to back it up. It’s rarely just me. For most weddings, our crew is a tight team of three — usually myself, Kyle, and a kick-ass assistant helping us, you, and your guests. That’s our sweet spot for giving full coverage without being in your face.
For our bigger, full-blown weddings — especially the ones booked with our flagship collection — the team can grow to five or six people. We bring in additional shooters, videographers, assistants, and sometimes a dedicated detail stylist to make sure every angle, moment, and piece of the story is locked in.
Before the big day, we work with you to build a solid timeline and photo list. We get to know what matters most to you — whether that’s the quiet first look with your partner, your grandmother’s hands holding yours, or the absolute rager happening on the dance floor. Then we divide and conquer, making sure no moment slips through the cracks.
We communicate like a well-oiled creative machine, covering different perspectives and capturing every layer of your day — from the big emotional beats to the small, intimate details that most people miss. You’ve only got one shot at this day, and we treat it like gold — with just the right balance of precision, presence, and good vibes.
What is your favorite part of the wedding day and why?
It’s hard to pick just one favorite part — but if I had to, it’s that sweet spot right after the ceremony when it’s just the two of you, fresh off saying “hell yes” to forever. The nerves are gone, the energy is high, and there’s this raw, electric vibe that’s impossible to fake. That’s where the real magic hits.
You’re not worried about timelines or table settings — you’re fully in it, soaking each other in. And that’s when we sneak away for those just-married portraits. It’s quiet, it’s intentional, and it’s usually the first real moment you get to breathe and just be with your person. I love capturing that energy — the laughter, the relief, the way you look at each other like “Damn, we really did this.”
That window of time gives me the chance to shoot those cinematic, scroll-stopping images and document a piece of the story that’s 100% real. No audience, no pressure — just you two being fully yourselves. It’s intimate, it’s powerful, and it never gets old.
