Monica Cassell Photography

I’m a fast-talking southerner with a camera in one hand and a Disney World annual pass in the other. After photographing over 100 weddings across the globe alongside a small but mighty team of fellow photographers and videographers, I’ve come to believe fairytales and happily ever afters are real—and I pinch myself every day because I’m lucky enough to be a small part of yours.

Our philosophy is pretty simple: We want our couples to feel SEEN and HEARD. Our job is to advocate for and capture your wedding days wants, and to make sure you have a sh*t tone of fun in the process.

We’re here for the bold, no BS couple who wants photos that make them actually feel something. We’re not chasing Pinterest perfection. We’re chasing genuine emotions, whether it’s belly-aching laughter or tears of joy (thank god for waterproof mascara). Our work brings out the best in you individually and as a pair, and makes you smile as you flip through that photobook on your coffee table or rewatch your wedding film with your kiddos years later.

We’re skilled at spotting and capturing fleeting moments in time, moments that add up to create your visual legacy. We can jump in and direct when needed (and you know there’s always that one rowdy groomsman who needs corralling), but we also know when to blend into the background and let the candid magic happen. Basically, you can think of us as well-dressed flies on the wall at your wedding who are not afraid to break out a goofy rad dance move when our fav songs come on (especially if it’s Dance Monkey by ‘Tones and I’).

FAQs

What inspired you to become a wedding photographer?

I took an after school photography class in 2nd grade, and from then on I’ve always had a camera on me (disposable, Polaroid, point-and-shoot, you name it). My love for photography only grew from there. As a first generation Polish American, I loved learning about my family’s roots. We only got to visit Poland every few years, so to stay connected, we would print out family photos and mail them to our relatives; I can still remember running to the mailbox to check if we’d received photos in return! In 2017, an opportunity presented itself to step into the wedding photography industry full-time, and I’ve been documenting couples’ fairytale romances ever since! Today, I lead a lean yet efficient team of trusted photographers and videographers who are as passionate about providing couples with the signature MCP experience as I am.

How would you describe your photography style?

I would describe my photography style as fun and vibrant imagery, that never goes “off trend” or out of style.

How do you ensure that your clients feel comfortable and relaxed during the photo shoot?

My clients become friends. I take the time to get to know each and every couple, their story, and their personalities so that I can create imagery that represents their style and vibe.

How do you ensure that you capture all of the important moments on the wedding day?

I take time to meet with my clients and learn about what is important to them on their wedding day. Together, we make a timeline and plan for the day to ensure everything gets captured.

What is your favorite part of the wedding day and why?

My favorite part of the wedding day are the in-between moments. The look a bride may give her groom when he’s unaware, the pride beaming in a father’s smile as his son or daughter says their vows, and how a mothers takes in the moment that her daughter shares a dance with her father.
