What inspired you to become a wedding photographer?
I originally started taking portraits of my children and posting on facebook. Someone asked me to photograph there wedding and I told them no on multiple occasions. Eventually, I caved. I was so nervous I did as much research as possible. From that wedding and adventure took place 7 years ago and it’s still going.
How would you describe your photography style?
I would say my style is more of a traditional edit with a photo journalistic approach
How do you ensure that your clients feel comfortable and relaxed during the photo shoot?
conversation. Make them laugh. be a genuine friend that cares about them. Adding a personal touch to everything via conversation and personality makes the day so much easier for my clients. It’s always a good time.
How do you ensure that you capture all of the important moments on the wedding day?
I help with reviewing their timeline and to make sure there’s enough time for the things that are important to them
What is your favorite part of the wedding day and why?
That’s a tough one. I’d say it’s a tie between the ceremony and the reception. I love the Ceremony simply because all of the meaning that stands behind the action that is occurring in that moment. However, I also love the reception because there’s always soo many good times and laughs that are had while celebrating for my clients.
