In fact, The Blue Goose is now operated by the non-profit South Placer Heritage Foundation (SPHF). The facility used to be a fully operational fruit packing shed until it shut down in 2001. SPHF began extensive renovations and over 100 businesses donated their time, materials, and funds for this project. This historic landmark showcases what life was like during earlier days, while also preserving traditional ideals that are based on giving back to the thoughtful community.
