Forty Martyrs Armenian Apostolic Church

The first Armenian Catholic Church in Orange County, California was founded on November 25th 1984. A blessed ceremony took place at the groundbreaking and construction began soon after. On July 19th 1988 His Holiness Karekin II of Cilicia consecrated this church as a holy site for Armenians living in America to worship their religion freely without persecution or threat.
