My journey as a wedding photographer was ignited by a deep passion for Alberta’s breathtaking landscapes and the incredible people that live here. Years ago, while working as a medic and traveling across this beautiful province, I was fortunate to witness the wonders of nature firsthand. I noticed a lynx outside my window and unfortunately my iPhone just couldn’t capture what I saw. I vowed in that moment to buy a professional camera the next time I headed back to town.

During my work shifts, I dedicated my time to studying the technical aspects of photography, honing my skills and knowledge. On my days off, I embarked on countless adventures, venturing into the wild to put into practice what I had learned. As my portfolio grew, my images began to attract attention and recognition. It was during this time that I had the privilege of collaborating with remarkable individuals who encouraged me to incorporate the human element into my landscape photography.

Once I started capturing love stories within these majestic mountain backdrops, it became an obsession. It became clear that documenting the emotions, connections, and cherished moments of couples against the backdrop of these stunning landscapes was my true calling. Eager to pursue this passion further, I began shooting weddings near Edmonton and eventually made the move to Jasper, where I could merge my two greatest loves: the Canadian Rockies and capturing love stories.

Today, I am grateful to call Jasper my home and playground, as I have the privilege of turning my passion into my profession. Being able to witness and preserve the essence of love within the awe-inspiring setting of the mountains is an incredible honor and a constant source of inspiration. Every day, I wake up excited to embark on this remarkable journey, capturing the beauty and emotional connections that unfold during mountain wedding days and elopements.
