Golden Gate Canyon State Park

A serene mountain escape? 30 miles west of Denver is the Golden Gate Canyon State Park. It features a variety of camping options, both primitive and electric campsites with six cabins for more civilized living accommodations or simply to camp out in the yurt! There are 35 miles worth trails which include multi-use areas, as well as hiking specific areas that would be interesting if you’re looking at getting up close and personal with nature’s beauty on your own two feet. Also, setting up a wedding seems quite an idea – get ready to say your vow with nature and dance the night away at the Red Barn (located just inside the park)!
