What inspired you to become a wedding photographer?
We started out in photography 8 years ago with a driving desire to photograph our family. With a newborn on the way, we bought a camera – the rest is just a natural progression! Inquiry after inquiry, session after session, we found a passion in photographing professionally. Eventually we jumped to weddings!
How would you describe your photography style?
We’re true to life with a bit more pop. Sometimes we throw a little oomph at a photo. Most of the time, we’re getting what we want straight out of the camera.
How do you ensure that your clients feel comfortable and relaxed during the photo shoot?
Laughing. It’s the key to everything. Laugh at us, laugh with us, laugh at each other. Laughing at Sam is really important LOL.
How do you ensure that you capture all of the important moments on the wedding day?
We’re a team – uniquely connected, but each of us different in how we think. We ensure we get every angle by capturing what both of us see that day.
What is your favorite part of the wedding day and why?
The moment right after the ceremony is such a huge rush. Pure joy, confidence, hope, and the falling away of all the stress. The hard part is done and the FUN BEGINS!
