FAQs

What inspired you to become a wedding photographer?

I became a wedding photographer because I really enjoy working with people and using my skills in fine art and photojournalism to capture important moments. I love figuring out how to make each photo look its best and playing around with how everything fits in the picture. At weddings, I get to use all these skills to take photos that tell a beautiful story. Being able to combine working with people, being creative, and capturing big life events is what made me choose wedding photography.

How would you describe your photography style?

My photography style mixes fine art with photojournalism. This means I take candid, real-life shots along with more crafted, artistic photos. I like using natural light and focus on capturing real emotions and little details throughout the day. My aim is to tell a story with my pictures, so couples can remember their special day just as it happened.

How do you ensure that your clients feel comfortable and relaxed during the photo shoot?

I make sure my clients feel comfortable and relaxed during photo shoots by getting to know them first and understanding what they like. During the shoot, I give clear instructions to help them pose naturally and keep the mood light and friendly. I also encourage them to share their own ideas and use things that mean something to them, making the photos more personal. Plus, I always give positive feedback to help them feel confident. This way, everyone feels at ease, and the photos turn out great.

How do you ensure that you capture all of the important moments on the wedding day?

To make sure I capture all the important moments on a wedding day, I start by talking with the couple before their wedding to understand what special moments they want captured. I also create a detailed plan for the day so I know where to be and when. I work closely with other people like the wedding planner and videographer to make sure we’re all coordinated. For big weddings, I might bring another photographer so we can cover different parts of the event at the same time. My experience helps me anticipate and be ready for special moments, ensuring I capture everything important.

What is your favorite part of the wedding day and why?

My favorite part of the wedding day is the ceremony. This is when emotions are at their highest, and you can really feel the love and excitement in the air. It’s beautiful to see the couple exchange vows and commit to each other in front of their friends and family. Capturing these heartfelt moments, from the happy tears to the smiles, is incredibly rewarding because these are the memories that the couple will cherish forever.
