Green Apple Photography
Whether barefoot or black tie, we empower you to be fully present. When you savor each moment it makes time feel like it’s passing slower, allowing you the wonder of being alive.
The feel of your gown brushing your skin as you walk those finals steps down the aisle, the sweet sound of laughter from your grandmother’s lips, the swelling in your heart as you recite your vows… these are the moments your photographs will bring you back to over and over again.
Presence is like meditation in motion. When you give yourself the freedom of awareness, your day becomes richer, more meaningful, and more fully lived.
HI! I’M CHRISTORA 🙂
I know what it’s like to be in your shoes.
10 years ago I was planning my own wedding, hoping my vision would come
to life, wondering if I’d be able to enjoy the day I had put so much effort into.
Thankfully, I had an amazing team that helped me stay aware.
I’ll never forget the moment my photographer asked,
“Have you taken a moment to soak it all in?”
He reminded me of something so integral.
THE GIFT OF AWARENESS.
Of recognizing the big memories in the little moments.
This gift is what we offer you.

FAQs
What inspired you to become a wedding photographer?
I fell in love with photography while living in China. The smells, the connections, the feel of fabrics, all I wanted to do was to remember what it felt like to be abroad – and I found that joy through photographs. Figuring that out, and coming back to the United States, I was able to really appreciate the moments I was capturing and the story those moments told. Weddings were a natural transition into finding the joy, hope, and expectation of tomorrow that I always felt around every corner in China.
How would you describe your photography style?
Posed candid. I feel that it’s my job to see your best angle and get either you, or me, into the right position to capture that… however, I also find that authentic emotion is my ABSOLUTE favorite part of any day or story. The mid-snort laugh brings me more joy so I always allow time for people to be themselves. It’s one of my favorite changes that photography has brought to my life – I now see people in a completely new light.
How do you ensure that your clients feel comfortable and relaxed during the photo shoot?
Trust is a huge portion of any photo shoot. We are not naturally inclined to be the subjects and so it can feel intrusive. I always get my clients moving first to allow them to relax into the shoot. I also will choose to show the back of my camera a few times throughout so the clients see what I see; how stunning they really are.
