What inspired you to become a wedding photographer?
J.Richard Photography was born out of the idea of me wanting to give couples a peace of mind. Letting you feel the relief that you are getting a photographer that is passionate about his craft and takes pride in giving you images that are Timeless, Authentic, and Emotional. Images that will allow you to feel your day all over again.
How would you describe your photography style?
True to color, fine art inspired, but with a touch of photo journalism.
How do you ensure that your clients feel comfortable and relaxed during the photo shoot?
With personality. I want my couples to be completely comfortable with me around. That way they can be free to be themselves, and drink in all of the details of the day.
How do you ensure that you capture all of the important moments on the wedding day?
By working hard, shooting smart, and being totally in love with the process.
What is your favorite part of the wedding day and why?
I am a girl dad, so seeing the bride’s father give her a way is always a special moment to me. Coming in a close second is the look of the groom’s face when he sees her for the fist time.
