Your wedding is really about the people who travel all the way to Costa Rica to be with you. Before the day, I take time to learn who matters most to you and how everyone fits together. I want to know who is likely to cry during the vows and which friend will pull your dad onto the dance floor. On the wedding day, that knowledge helps me be in the right place when those moments happen.

I photograph in a documentary style, so I don’t spend your day posing you. I follow what is really happening and let things happen on their own.

I also photograph a lot of elopements. Some couples come with just the two of them, and some bring a few people they love. You don’t need a wedding planner to elope here, because I help you with everything. I’ll help you pick the right beach or waterfall and the best time for the light and the tide, and I set up the arch, picnic, officiant and flowers with vendors I trust.

After the wedding, I turn those photographs into albums and wall art that honor your relationships. Digital files are nice to have, but a printed album is something you will pick up and share with your family for years.

I have lived and worked in Costa Rica for more than 20 years, and I’m now based in Tamarindo. I know the venues, beaches, light, and weather across Guanacaste and in La Fortuna. That local experience means you can enjoy your day while I take care of the details that affect your photographs.
