FAQs

What inspired you to become a wedding photographer?

When I first started my photography business, I was hesitant to join the wedding industry. After a friend asked me to photograph their wedding in 2014, I was hooked! There is so much romance and beauty on a wedding day, and I love capturing the little moments that are quickly forgotten, and the big moments that you’ll want to relive forever!

How would you describe your photography style?

My style is very versatile. A mixture of traditional and documentary, there aretimes when I will give precise direction for wall-worthy portraits, and other times I will take my hands off the wheel, allowing your most natural, authentic, and romantic moments to occur naturally.

How do you ensure that your clients feel comfortable and relaxed during the photo shoot?

Before a couple ever books me, we go through a process called a Discovery Call. During this meeting, we get to know each other. After booking, we will continue to interact and become more comfortable, so that when the wedding day comes, they can have full trust in me!

How do you ensure that you capture all of the important moments on the wedding day?

An efficient timeline is absolutely essential for a smooth wedding day. I will work with couples and their planner to make sure that everything is timed well, and no one feels rushed. I also believe having a second photographer with me is imperative, which is why I include one with every custom collection. Not only is this second photographer my insurance, in case something were to happen to me, but their presence also allows me freedom to be more creative, so your photos are the absolute bes they can be!

What is your favorite part of the wedding day and why?

Hands down, my favorite parts are the first looks between the bride and her dad, and the bride and her groom. The emotions that come with seeing your baby girl in her wedding dress just tug at my heartstrings, and then the groom, seeing the woman of his dreams ready to marry him, sheds a tear because it becomes so real.
