Sure, I’ll capture the beauty of your day, and the traditional “look at the camera and smile” images you (and your momma) most likely want- But I think what you’ll find matters more are the unique elements and honest emotions that make your day- and your story- YOURS.

This is why in my 15+ years photographing weddings, I’ve gone into each wedding day with one defined goal: Capture honest artistic, and beautiful images of the moments and people that matter most – and make sure we have a fantastic time doing it.

FAQs

How would you describe your photography style?

I’d say my photography style is 80% candid/journalistic, and 20% gently directed. I’m definitely moment and light driven, and don’t love to spend a ton of time on flat lays and details without a human element.

How do you ensure that your clients feel comfortable and relaxed during the photo shoot?

Growing up, I moved over 60 times – all over the world. That experience of making new friends quickly, and adapting to new surroundings almost yearly gave me the skills to “disarm” new people I meet pretty effortlessly. It also taught me to trust my instincts and adapt my communication style based on who I’m meeting. I’m also fu-king hilarious.

How do you ensure that you capture all of the important moments on the wedding day?

I have a pretty detailed questionnaire that digs into what my couples really value. And 99% of the time, it’s their guests. Learning who the VIPs are prior to the wedding day, and having an incredible support team of second photographers and assistants helps me get those important moments.

What is your favorite part of the wedding day and why?

Tied between those 5 seconds right after the first kiss, and immediately after a first look when you can FEEL the nerves melting away. Love that shit.
