FAQs
What inspired you to become a wedding photographer?
When I first picked up a camera at 16, I looked at wedding photographers with awe, they seemed fearless. The ones who could bring calm to a couple on the biggest day of their lives while capturing the joy and emotion unfolding around them. I wanted to be that person. I come from a long line of happily married couples and every generation has their wedding photographs as a tribute to their love. I knew I wanted to create those lasting memories for others and that is still what drives me today.
How would you describe your photography style?
My style is an editorial documentary blend. My background in fashion keeps me thinking creatively about composition, light and the little details that make an image feel refined and timeless. But I never let those ideas overshadow the heart of a moment. Rather than directing endless poses, I join the celebration, connect with the people around me and create photographs that feel real. I don’t “blend into the background” and never chat with anyone, but I capture the moments and celebrate with you.
How do you ensure that your clients feel comfortable and relaxed during the photo shoot?
I take time to get to know each couple and what they value most. I show them how the portrait part of the day can feel less like a photo shoot and more like a moment to be together as newlyweds. We walk, explore the venue, chat about the day so far and let natural interactions lead the photographs. If there is a quiet corner to pause, cuddle or reflect, I am always happy to encourage that space to breathe.
How do you ensure that you capture all of the important moments on the wedding day?
I keep communication clear from the very beginning and I only commit to one wedding per week. This allows me to be fully present without distraction. I set expectations early that I am not there to tick off a list of standard shots. I am there to document the day as it truly feels, through an artistic approach that is shaped by experience and intuition.
What is your favorite part of the wedding day and why?
The ceremony is always incredibly meaningful to me. It is the moment where the excitement of a wedding becomes a marriage that will grow and last. I love the energy of confetti and the joy it brings, and I cherish the quieter moments where couples can hold each other and take in the fact that they have just said their vows. Those are the memories that deserve to be held close forever.
