The 32-mile long Sacramento Northern Bikeway connects Folsom Lake with many parks in Sacramento County. All of that before reaching the Old Sacramento. This bike path goes through historic downtown, midtown and East Sac neighborhoods. The park also includes Lake Natoma, a lake downstream from Folsom Lake which is popular for crew races, sailing and kayaking. Similarly, it can even be a natural backdrop when you get in one knee.
