Welcome to Le James! Charleston’s premier event space located within the historic
French Quarter neighborhood of downtown. Originally built in the 1820’s this three story
25,000 square foot building embraces southern charm. With three separate event
spaces and a rooftop terrace, Le James delivers elegance to every occasion. From
glamorous galas to high-end weddings, and corporate affairs, our team is committed to
providing five-star hospitality.

Location, Location, Location. Although there are numerous wedding venues in
Charleston, Le James is proud to be the one and only situated within the French
Quarter. Located directly across from South Carolina’s only 5-Star hotel (The Cooper),
Le James gives planners and couples the ability to host their guests in a luxury event
setting with 5-Star hotel accommodations. However, it doesn’t stop there – Not into the
church scene and want to have your ceremony on our rooftop? No problem, Le James
can set 300+ chairs on its roof top terrace with the ability to host your guests in our
oversized ballroom and or first floor event spaces for post dinner and dancing.
