Potter Marsh Bird Sanctuary

Potter Marsh offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and wildlife, including birds, moose, and occasionally bears. The boardwalk trail provides a unique and picturesque backdrop for wedding photos. It is an unspoiled natural setting, which can add a special and authentic touch to a wedding elopement. The quiet and peaceful environment can also make for an intimate and romantic experience.

As a public park, there are no rental fees for using Potter Marsh for a wedding elopement. However, a permit may be required for events with larger groups. The Anchorage Coastal Wildlife Refuge and the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail are located nearby, offering additional opportunities for outdoor recreation and sightseeing.
