Wilderlust Studio
Illinois
Wilderlust Studio is a Chicago wedding photography studio for couples who care more about real moments than perfect poses.
We believe the best wedding photographs aren’t manufactured—they’re felt. The nervous excitement before the ceremony, the tears your parents try to hide, the way your partner looks at you when no one else is paying attention. Those are the moments that matter.
Our approach blends documentary storytelling with an artistic eye, creating images that feel honest, emotional, and timeless. We focus on preserving the experience of your wedding day as it unfolds naturally while crafting photographs that are both beautiful and deeply personal.
Based in Chicago and available worldwide, Wilderlust Studio specializes in weddings for adventurous, laid-back couples who value connection, authenticity, and meaningful experiences. Whether you’re celebrating in the heart of the city, along the shores of Lake Michigan, or somewhere far beyond, we’re here to tell your story exactly as it happened.

FAQs
What inspired you to become a wedding photographer?
I didn’t become a wedding photographer because I was obsessed with weddings—I became one because I was drawn to people and the stories that connect them.
What inspired me most was realizing that a wedding day is one of the few times in life when all of the people you love are gathered in one place. There are so many genuine emotions happening at once: excitement, nerves, joy, laughter, tears, and moments that often go unnoticed in real time. I found myself wanting to preserve those moments in a way that felt honest and meaningful.
Photography gave me a way to tell those stories. Over time, I fell in love with documenting the unscripted moments—the quick glance between a couple, a parent wiping away tears, friends celebrating without a care in the world. Those are the photographs that become more valuable with every passing year.
Today, what continues to inspire me is the opportunity to create images that help people remember not just how their wedding day looked, but how it felt.
