St. Gabriel Catholic Church
St. Gabriel Catholic Church was originally a part of an established church called St. Michael’s. But overtime, it grew to become an independent parish on June 15th 1973, during the height of its population at over two hundred families, and encompassing the southern part of the community now known as Poway. Another sacred and historical place, this is yet another perfect location for the sacrament of marriage.
Likewise, in order to take your vow here, you should follow the preparations stated on the parish’s website. So you can begin the process of your matrimonial journey, simply by meeting the Director of Weddings and the Pastor. Also, you can choose a seasoned mentor couple that will guide you through the steps of preparing for marriage. Journey through the essence of love with this wonderful program!
Historically relevant, Fr. (Monsignor) Charles J. Dollen was the first pastor of St. Gabriel’s. Accompanied with architect Dale St. Denis, he and the community visualized the building of the current parish hall. And in 2015, the renovation was completed, thus, the hall was dedicated to Monsignor Dollen. Furthermore, the parish looks forward to celebrate the greatest day of your life here. As they also look forward to the parish’s future and hopeful plans to a much more growing community!
