The Green Room is a gorgeous event space located in the heart of San Francisco’s Civic Center. It is an exquisite place for affairs held in conjunction with performances at the Herbst Theatre and War Memorial Opera House. Additionally, it is located on the second floor of The Veterans Building. Indeed, this spectacular venue is perfect for dinners, lectures or receptions – especially, grand weddings. Moreover, The Green Room is a beautiful and flexible event space with five 24-lamp chandeliers. It also has a built-in wet bar, and floor to ceiling windows overlooking San Francisco City Hall. The rental includes access to the freight elevator and exclusive use of an expansive catering staging kitchen. Consequently, the rental rates are for an 8-hour access period. Which includes 3 hours of set up time, during which you can also use the venue to prepare your event. Followed by 3.5 hours of actual hands-on usage, and 1 hour and 45 minutes for load out time at the end.
Also, keep in mind that weddings may only be held here between July and August. So, they recommend booking a wedding planner to help you through this process. In addition, with their Green Room Wedding Package, you can rest easy knowing that they’ll help you simplify your work for a flat rate of $10K. The package includes access to their space starting from 1:00PM and is required to end no later than 11:30 PM with load out completed by 1:00 AM. Making sure that there’s less running around on your big day!
